New Delhi: Land Rover’s Range Rover has been a hot shot since the first gen variant debuted into the market. It is considered one of the finest luxury sports utility vehicles in the world and the manufacturer is continuing the image. The ready to launch variant of the RangeRover model has already been booked by 15 thousand buyers prior to the launch into show rooms. The upcoming RangeRover Sport 2014 has already scored 15 thousand booking in the European marketsolely so far even though the model was not yet reached show rooms for sale.
The European market has got all the five variants of the 2014 Range Rover Sport, butIndian market may not get all the five since the sale volume for the luxury SUV maker In India is not appreciable. The Indian may get the diesel variant of the Range Rover Sportequipped with a 3 liter V6 diesel engine that is capable of generating around 292 PS of power at the peak along with 600 Nm of torque. The petrol variant may get fitted with a 5.0 Liter Super Charged V8 engine that can produce 510 PS of power at the peak along with 625 Nm of torque.
Land Rover will be unveiling the most awaited Range Rover Long Wheel Base SUV soon after launch of the Range Rover Sport into stores. Range Rover LWB is named the most luxurious SUV in the automotive history and thus there has been a lot of buzz about this upcoming variant. Few spy images of the model have already been unveiled over web which have gone viral. There is no official announcement about the model so far and thus we are not aware of much about this model.
But it is informed that Range Rover LWB will be around 150 mm longer than the current gen Range Rove SUV. We may expect the official launch of the model very soon and some sources revealed that Land Rover is looking forward to debut the Range Rover LWB at the upcoming Guangzhou Motor Show which will be held later in China this year.
